(1). Early Life and Education

→ Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in a place called Queens in New York City. 

→ His parents were named Fred and Mary Anne Trump. 

→ He had four brothers and sisters. 

→ His dad did well in building and selling properties, and when Donald was young, he learned about this business. 

→ He went to the Kew-Forest School and then to the New York Military Academy. 

→ At this school, he showed that he could be a leader.

→ After Trump finished school at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968, he started working for his dad's real estate company. 

→ Later, he became the boss of the family business and changed its name to "The Trump Organization." 

→ He grew the business by doing different things like real estate, hotels, casinos, and shows. 

→ His making things famous and telling people about them helped him do really well.

(3). Real Estate Empire

→ Trump did big building projects like the Trump Tower in New York City and fancy houses in different parts of the world. 

→ He also tried casinos and made the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. 

→ But he had problems with his businesses and had to deal with not having enough money multiple times.

→ Trump became well-known for more than just buildings because he was also on TV. 

→ He had a show called "The Apprentice" where he helped people find jobs. 

→ He had another show called "Celebrity Apprentice." 

→ He had a saying, "You're fired!" that many people knew.

→ Trump started trying to become the president a long time ago, even in the 1980s. 

→ He tried to be the president for a group called the Reform Party in 2000, but he gave up. 

→ In 2015, he said he wanted to be the president again, this time for a group called the Republicans. 

→ People didn't think he could do it at first, but he showed them wrong and became the person the Republicans wanted to be their president. 

→ Then, he had to compete with a lady named Hillary Clinton from the Democratic group in the big election.

→ Donald Trump became the President of the United States in 2016. 

→ He started his job on January 20, 2017. 

→ He did things that made some people really like him and other people not like him. 

→ He talked a lot on social media, especially Twitter, which was different. 

→ He also made new rules, like about taxes and who could come into the country. 

→ He wanted to make sure America did well first, by improving trade, making jobs, and reducing rules.

(7). Key Policies and Events

Tax Reform: Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act into law in 2017, which aimed to reduce corporate and individual tax rates.

Immigration and Travel Bans: He stopped people from some countries where most people are Muslim from coming to the country. 

→ This caused arguments and legal fights about whether it was fair and safe.

Healthcare: Efforts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) were unsuccessful.

Foreign Policy: Trump's way of dealing with other countries included changing trade agreements, like the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and trying to talk with North Korea.

Impeachment: Two times, the House of Representatives said that Trump did something really wrong. 

→ The first time was in 2019 because he misused his power and didn't cooperate with Congress. 

→ The second time was in 2021 because he encouraged a riot at the Capitol on January 6th. 

→ But both times, the Senate decided he wasn't guilty.

(8). 2020 Presidential Election

→ In 2020, Trump wanted to be the president again, but he had to compete with Joe Biden, who was chosen by the Democratic party. 

→ A lot of people voted in this election, and it took a long time to count all the votes because many people voted by mail. 

→ Trump said that the election wasn't fair and that there was cheating, but he didn't have strong proof for this. 

→ Some legal problems came up, but they were mostly stopped because there wasn't enough proof.

(9). Post-Presidential Period

→ After he stopped being the president on January 20, 2021, Trump still had an important job in the Republican Party. 

→ He kept showing his control in political talks, especially by supporting people and making statements. 

→ He also had to deal with legal problems about how he ran his business and his money records.
