(1). Ancient Civilization

→ This time is when Hinduism and other beliefs began.

→ India had different empires like the Maurya Empire around 322-185 BCE and the Gupta Empire around 320-550 CE.
→ These empires played a big part in art, culture, and how the country was ruled.
(4). Medieval Period
→ In the past, India had different leaders and groups, like the Mughals and the Delhi Sultanate.
→ During this time, there was a lot of beautiful art, buildings, and culture.
→ Also, Islam became more common in India.
(5). British Colonial Rule
→ "A long time ago, a company from Britain came to India in the 1600s.
→ They stayed for a very long time and ruled India until 1947."
(6). Independence and Partition
→ India became free from British rule on August 15, 1947.
→ It was split into two separate countries, India and Pakistan, which caused many people to move between them and created tensions between different religious groups.

→ "India became a big democracy after it got independence.
→ It got better in technology, business, and schools.
→ But it had some problems with politics, fights in different areas, and getting richer.
→ India's history is really long and has many different things in it.
→ People from different cultures, religions, languages, and customs live there.
→ That's why it's a very diverse and important country in the world."
